The biotechnet is the favourite partner for many companies to develop and run general as well as highly specialized courses for education. F.Hoffmann-La Roche AG Basel selected the biotechnet to educate and train the technicians that will run the production of the anti-cancer antibody Avastin in Basel. A four week intensive course in protein expression in mammalian cells and protein analysis was developed and sucessfully run at the Universities of Applied Sciences in Wintherthur and Wädenswil. Roche could rely on the multiple competencies of our members while the biotechnet was the single contact point that organized and handled this course.
